Sword good, scabbard fair. 2) "U.S. Armory" officer's sword, 37" OAL, 31" etched blade, gilt brass hilt, sharkskin grip, nickel finished scabbard. Tip bent, otherwise good. 3) Browning, King and Co officer's sword, 37 1/2" OAL, 32" etched blade, gilt brass hilt, faux sharkskin grip, wire sword knot, leather scabbard. Blade good, hilt and sheath rough, with loose fittings and absent parts. 4) Ames musician's sword, 34 5/8" OAL, 28 1/4" blade dated 1864, brass hilt, leather scabbard. Good.
