Ames Mfg. Co. knife bayonet with 11 7/8" blade, 16 1/2" OAL. Ames markings on left ricasso, "U.S.N./D.R/1863" on the right. Very good, the blade mostly bright with some light pitting/cleaning and a few minor dings, attractively aged brass, and the grip showing some light handling marks.
