Excellent BSA Martini MkIII Heavy Barrel target rifle with a Lyman 8x Junior Targetspot scope (SN1104), Parker Hale target sights and bases. These are extremely accurate rifles with this style rifle imported by Al Freeland, a noted, distinguished small bore target shooter and gunshop owner from Rock Island, Ill. The MK III has a full length aluminum handguard hanger to free float the 28 1/4 inch heavy barrel. The barrel is marked "BSA GUNS LTD ENGLAND" with factory proofs on the front of the receiver with BSA MARTINI-INTERNATIONAL MK III" on the right side. Retains its original BSA walnut buttstock with right hand, roll-over cheekpiece and noted full length forend. As noted it comes with a very early Lyman Junior Target Spot scope and original Parker Hale Model 25 Target rear sight and a Parker Hale globe front sight with bases for both as well as a leather sling and palm rest.
