Description:

"1863" dated lock. Includes two prints depicting the Battle of Little Bighorn, three Civil War/Indian Wars style kepi hats, a top hat with plume attributed to Chief Looking Glass of the Nez Perce, a beaded rawhide rifle sleeve which (along with the rifle) are attributed as having been acquired in 1961 from John Stands In Timber whose Grandfather Wolf Tooth had fought Custer's men at the battle, as well as a plethora of other artifacts such as cartridges and buckles attributed by Steve Dancey as having been collected from the Little Bighorn battlefield by his Grandfather, Oscar Dancey, in the early 1900s while working for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. A picture of Oscar Dancey with Two Moons at the battlefield is included along with multiple signed documents of attribution.
