Description:

24 1/4" OAL, 17 3/4" blade, , with a wavy hamon, active grain, and a copper habaki. The tsuba is rounded iron with a two-figure signature, sculpted floral fuchi and kashira, green wrap over gold-accented bird themed menuki, and a black lacquer saya. The tang has one mekugi-ana, with a six-figure signature on the left side. Notes supplied by the consignor attribute the blade as Koto-era production by Soshu Jyu Hiromatsu and the tsuba to Kunihiro.
