The Premier revolvers were introduced in 1895 and remained in production until 1941. This revolver is a "Second Model 1st Variation 1905" estimated to have been manufactured in 1905. The barrel has the "PREMIER 22 CAL. R.F." marking on the left introduced in 1905, the "HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS COMPANY,/WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. MAY 14, '89 APR. 2, '95 APR. 7, '96. marking on the top of the rib, and "A51063" on the underside of the top strap. A40000-A75000 is the estimated range for this variation. The cylinder and cylinder star have "63," a "3" is visible at the heel, and "1063" is marked on the left side of the grip frame at the heel. The revolver has a finger spur on the butt, pearl grips, and a spurious "To/Annie Oakley/From Pawnee Bill/1901" inscription on the right side. It is accompanied by a lightly tooled brown leather flap holster marked "4756/32/5" on the belt loop and "1st Place/Annie/Oakley" on the added brass plaque.
