Part of the "1,000 additional pistols, consecutively serial numbered in Colt's regular serial range from C20001 to C21000, also marked with Argentine numbers from 1 to 1000 on top of the slide" purchased by the Argentina government in 1915 (see Clawson's "Colt .45 Service Pistols," page 157). Top of slide is marked with the number "576."
