Description:

The included factory letter states this carbine was received in the warehouse on March 24, 1875 and shipped on March 25, 1875 on order number 2413. Modern made replacement thumb print dust cover, rear sight loose in dovetail.

Rating Definition:

Fair overall with a mixture of refinished blue and dark patina, light pitting scattered throughout, and the heavily weathered wood with moderate cracks and chipping. Mechanically fine.
