Description:

Manufactured for use in the Civil War and converted after the war, relined with 3-groove rifling. Two inspection cartouches stamped on the left of the buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Very good as arsenal refurbished, with scattered freckling, areas fading to smooth gray and brown patina, and a few patches of light pitting. The re-oiled wood is very fine with distinct edges, a few light handling marks, and sharp cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
