Description:

This boxlock pistol has a cannon style turn off barrel, "crown/V" and "crown/P" proof marks on the bottom of the action at the breech, floral and scroll engraving patterns, "T. ARCHER" in a banner on the right side, and silver wire inlaid walnut stock. Thomas Archer Sr. and Jr. operated out of Birmingham in the late 18th and early 19th century.

Rating Definition:

Very good with some aged patina, and a few patches of light pitting on the iron. Grip is fine as refinished. Mechanically fine.
