Description:

Manufactured 1891. Included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed), as well as shipment to Simmons Hardware Co. in St. Louis. The consignor states that this revolver belonged to his great grandfather, Joseph R. Purdy, who was a sheriff in Oklahoma.

Rating Definition:

Good overall with faint traces of original finish, a few scattered patches of light pitting, and numerous hairline age cracks in the grip. Mechanically excellent.
