No visible maker's mark. Some small markings, including a "crown/JP" on the middle barrel band and what appears to be a faint "1777" marking on the tang. The French 1777 pattern was also copied by other European countries, including the Swiss.

Good, cleaned with mild pitting, absent top jaw, refinished stock with insect damage, and general moderate wear. Mechanically fine.
