Description:

1) Japanese blade, 23" long with a 17 3/4" live edge, wavy hamon, and two-piece nickel plated habaki. Tang is unsigned, with three mekugi-ana. With saya. 2) Japanese wakizashi, 19 1/2" OAL, 14" blade, wavy hamon, active grain, copper habaki, round iron tsuba with warrior and landscape motifs, sculpted warrior and dragon motifs on the fuchi, kashira, and menuki, and a red lacquer saya with black lacquer floral decoration. Tang is unsigned, with one mekugi-ana.

Rating Definition:

1) Blade is very good, with some scattered light spotting/pitting and mild handling marks. Saya is good. 2) Blade is very good, with light handling marks. Some components and enamel are absent from the saya, otherwise the fittings are good.
