Serial number dates to 1943. Marked with "P" inspection on top chamber, 2 3/4" chamber and modified choke. Measures 13 1/2" LOP. A scope mounting base has been mounted at a 45 degree angle on the top left side of the receiver. Right side of the receiver is marked "U.S. flaming bomb".

Very good overall as refinished, with handling marks, light spotting/pitting, and dings and scratches on the wood. The barrel assembly is renumbered to match the receiver. Forearm has been reshaped. Mechanically excellent.
