Description:

Both caps have machine stitched "flat" eagle and cockade patches colored to match the base material, as well as a chevron of pink waffenfarbe trim on the front, indicating use by the panzer/armor troops. 1) Field cap, black felt construction with a gray twill interior marked "55" and "CLEMENS WAGNER/BRAUNSCHWEIG-HAMBURG" in black ink. 2) Tropical field cap, olive twill construction with a red cloth interior marked "57/2590/0100/343" and "R.Btr.-Nr.0/ 0268/5044" in black ink. Rating Definition:

1) Very good with mild wear and handling marks. 2) Very good, with a few small holes on the front near the cockade patch and mild wear overall.
