Description:

Originally manufactured 1884, altered to officer's model pattern with "J.P. GEMMER/ST. LOUIS" marked on the barrel at the breech, faint "SWP/1891" cartouche on the left of the stock.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with much of the applied blue finish on the barrel showing a plum hue, a few scattered patches of light spotting/pitting, and a few scattered light handling marks on the refinished, freshly checkered wood. Mechanically excellent.
