This is one of less than 800 Army-Framed Target pistols Remington reworked from 1887 to 1891. The heavy barrel lacks an address, as usually encountered with this model. Both grip straps have a matching assembly number ("639"). The grip is numbered to the gun as well as the forearm in pencil.

Exceptionally fine as factory refurbished with holster type wear. Grip has a splice repair in the heel; otherwise, very fine with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
