Manufactured c. 1864-1865. Approximately 3,000 30 inch barrel "carbines" were manufactured as part of a contract for 5,000 for Kentucky in 1865.

Good, with mostly grey patina, a few scattered patches of light pitting/oxidation, and the refinished wood having a few repaired minor cracks and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

Manufactured c. 1855-1857, "crown/VxR" on lock, British proofs/markings on various parts.
