Very fine overall with original finish, some light freckling and handling marks, and crisp stamps in stock with a few scuffs. Mechanically excellent.

"1891" dated and "S" marked receiver ring, "K.A.R.E.2.128." unit marking on right of the rear barrel band, original sight graduations, Imperial German crown stamps on various components including the stock.

Good with original finish, brown and gray patina, and scattered light to mild pitting. Stock is also good with numerous scattered scratches and dents, and clear legible stamps. Absent cleaning rod. The bore has an open split inside the muzzle end. Mechanically fine.
