A) U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand Rifle

Description:

Receiver from November 1944 production, "3 S A 11 44" marked barrel with finished chamber, "19SA/B-17" bolt, and type 3 lock-bar rear sight assembly with "anchor/1670" marked rear sight cover. Includes a web sling.

Rating Definition:

Good as arsenal refurbished and subsequently partially restored to World War II configuration, with edge wear, thinning/silvering, freckling on the receiver, brown patina, and scattered handling marks. Stock is also fair as sanded and re-oiled with extensive handling marks, scuffs, and a loose fit to the receiver. Mechanically fine.

Good as arsenal refurbished, with scattered light freckling, minor spotting/pitting, thinning, grey and brown patina showing, and mild handling marks. Stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with defined grasping groves. Mechanically excellent.
