"1938" dated chamber, "S/42" code front toggle link, "eagle/63" proofed. With matching serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and extension, with matching "42" partials on small parts including both grips. Includes a blued "eagle/83" proofed magazine numbered to another pistol.

Very good as refinished, with re-cut toggle code, plum coloration and heat discoloration at the rear of the frame, light edge wear, thinning on the grip straps revealing mostly grey patina, and otherwise limited mild handling marks. The grips are fine with a cracked section in the left panel some minor nicks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
