"ENFIELD/1905/Sht LE/Cond II*/IV" marked on the left of the receiver stock socket, "Crown/V.R." royal cypher above "ENFIELD/Sht '22/III/EPD" marked on the right of the receiver stock socket, "N(broad arrow)Z" New Zealand marking on top left of the receiver ring, and "375" above the circular brass disc on right of buttstock New Zealand unit marked "N(broad arrow)Z/7 22/1372". Includes a brown leather sling.

Fine as arsenal refurbished/converted, with some scattered light pitting visible underneath the finish and freckling. Wood is very good as re-oiled, with numerous scattered dents and scratches, a crack on the left ahead of the buttplate, and a few arsenal repaired and spliced sections visible. Mechanically excellent.
