Built on a scarcely encountered Newton Mauser action. Barrel marked "REBUILT BY GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK" along with the caliber. With a side mounted Leupold 2 1/2x scope and a receiver rear sight base (sight absent).

Very fine as built by Griffin & Howe, showing only minor handling evidence. The stock has a small crack at the rear of the receiver sight base and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope optic clear.
