Description:

Manufactured c. 1862-1864. Small inspection initials "T.K.L." on left of the breech and rear sight base, and two boxed script cartouches stamped on the left stock flat. Period initials carved on right of buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Good with traces of original finish, brown patina, oxidation, spotting, and a golden aged patina on the brass. Stock is also good with numerous scattered scratches, dents and chips. Absent front barrel band screw. Mechanically fine.
