Description:

This revolver is an approximately late 1864 or 1865 production and very near the end of the production for established Confederate revolvers, thought to be in the 3,000 to 10,000 serial range. The Kerr revolver was a high quality weapon that saw extensive service in the Confederacy. Marked "KERR'S PATENT 10026" on the right side of the frame, and the matching serial number is on the cylinder. Provenance: The Val Forgett Collection; Property of a Gentleman

Good. The metal has been cleaned and exhibits scattered minor pitting. The metal and wood exhibit moderate overall wear. Mechanically fine.
