Manufactured c. 1888-1893. "U.S.N./(navy anchor)/No1042/W.W.K." marked chamber, "RL" marked left of rear sight, faded "PHILADELPHIA" stamped on top of the buttstock. Fitted with a brown leather sling.

Good with some original finish, gray and brown patina and scattered freckling/pitting. Re-oiled stock is also good with scattered scratches and dents, a small crack visible behind the right of the receiver tang, and a few small cracks around the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
