Description:

Manufactured in 1941. Slightly more than 4,000 First Series Match Target Woodsman's were delivered on Government contract between 1942-1944. The left of the barrel is marked "MATCH/TARGET" around a bullseye ahead of "THE WOODSMAN" with a crossed cannons cartouche, and the right of the frame is marked with inspection initials "G.H.D." Hand scratched initials on the bottom of the magazine.

Rating Definition:

Good with some original finish, scattered pitting/freckling, and smooth brown and gray patina on the balance. Replacement grips are very fine. Mechanically excellent.
