A) Springfield M1 Garand Rifle in 7.62 mm NATO

Description:

Receiver manufactured in January 1945. "S-A-8-52" marked breech of the replacement barrel with added "7.62 NATO M11" marking, with plastic spacer inside the follower channel. Includes an MRT M1907 brown leather sling, cleaning tools in the butt compartment, and a brown canvas U.S. rifle carrying case.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished, with some wear and scattered light pitting visible underneath the finish. Modern replacement stock is very fine. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured c. 1943. "2-43" dated Inland barrel with import mark, low wood stock with only a boxed "P" proof visible on the bottom of the grip. Includes a green canvas web sling, oiler, and a tan canvas carbine carrying case. Absent magazine.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with some cycling wear. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with some light handling marks, a small crack at the left rear of the handguard, and a small chip at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
