Manufactured for the Luftwaffe during World War II using previously rejected Mauser P.08 Luger components. "Luftwaffe eagle" proofed extension, "Luftwaffe eagle" and "eagle/135" proofed barrel. Front toggle link struck with "42" code and serial number "42". Matching serial numbers on the frame, extension, and interior of both grips, with the barrel un-numbered. Includes a "eagle/WaA742" code, "1938" date, and "Q RETCHEL/LENGEFELD." marked black leather flap holster and extra reproduction magazine.

Fine as refurbished and subsequently refinished, with minor edge wear, thinning on the grip frame revealing minor spotting/brown patina with limited pitting, plum coloration on the barrel and extension, freckling, and light handling marks. The grips are also fine as slightly under-sized with a chip missing from the left panel. Mechanically excellent. Holster is very fine with supple leather.
