Description:

"Eagle of Saladin" receiver crest with "Egyptian Army" in Arabic, one of approximately 1,500 receivers manufactured after 1953 when the Egyptian monarchy was overthrown and Egypt ordered just the receivers as replacements for the crown crested rifles they already had. It is unknown whether Egypt took delivery of the receivers, and it is known that Century Arms purchased the receivers in the 1980s and subsequently built complete rifles utilizing surplus components. Import marked barrel.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall as professionally importer refinished, with some light handling marks and some flaking. Mechanically excellent.
