Manufactured c. 1981-1986. "U.S." marked left of the receiver above the serial number, ""PROPERTY OF/THE U.S."" electro-stenciled on the bottom front of the trigger guard assembly. Fitted with a BSA Platinum 8-32x44 scope.

Very fine with much of the original finish, some edge finish wear, and some scattered light freckling on the trigger guard. Stock is very good with a small chip in the front of the forend and some scattered light scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Scope has clear optics.

From the first production block (between serial numbers 1,000,000 and 1,349,999) manufactured from October 1942 to December 1943. "1-44" dated Underwood barrel, "JM" type 3 barrel band, "WA" safety, "S G" recoil plate, "PM-IP" buttplate. Fitted with an "RSG" marked "I" cut high-wood stock with "RRA-C" Red River Army Depot rebuild mark on the right side. Includes a web sling, oiler, and "U.S." marked dual magazine web pouch.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with limited freckling, dried grease, and limited minor handling marks. Stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with a glue repaired crack on the right side of the tang. Mechanically excellent.
