Manufactured c. 1868-1888. The sights were updated to a globe front sight, spirit level in the rear dovetail, and tang mounted peep sight. The barrel is numbered to the gun and is also marked ".44 CTGE S." (typically indicating .44-77) and "S.T." (latter partially defaced). Includes a metal container with an empty box for Dominion .43 Mauser ammunition with hand written information for a .44-77 load.

Good as partially refinished and updated with mostly gray and brown patina, mild wear, and some chips and cracks in the wood. Mechanically fine.
