Wells Fargo marking on butt: "WF&Co." Factory letter states the revolver was shipped to Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, on July 7, 1902 with a 5 1/2 inch barrel in .38-40 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. This was a 14 gun shipment.

Very good with original finish, brown-gray patina on the balance, some pitting, softened grip checkering mostly on right panel. Mechanically excellent.
