A) Rare W.H. Calhoun Agent Marked Deringer Pocket Pistol

Description:

Manufactured in the mid-19th century. Marked "DERINGER/PHILADELA" on the lock and breech. Seven-groove rifling. "MAN'D FOR/W.H. CALHOUN/NASHVILLE, TENN" marked top barrel flat along with "AGENT" marked partially over "CALHOUN".

Rating Definition:

Very good with mostly gray and brown patina, minor oxidation/pitting, distinct engraving and markings, re-oiled wood with a faint crack at the breech on the left, and general mild wear. Mechanically fine.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished with an antiqued appearance, distinct engraving, absent wedge, double stamped marking on the barrel, one ear of the rear sight absent, traces of checkering, and some chips and cracks in the stock. Mechanically fine.
