Manufactured 1861-1865, converted to muzzleloading configuration by removing various components. Includes a handmade leather scabbard.

Good as frontier converted, with dark brown patina, some light pitting/oxidation, and wood with repairs, cracks, and chips. Mechanically functions. Leather scabbard is good.

Rawhide repair around the lock and breech area, Native American style brass tack decoration, mixed parts, barrel shortened, ramrod absent.
