Good, with some refinished blue and traces of original silver, some scattered light pitting and oxidation, and moderate wear/minor handling marks on the grip. Mechanically functions.

One of approximately 9,000 manufactured/converted c. 1871-1878 with the first 1,100 made for the U.S. Army. Mixed serial numbers with matching conversion serial number "1082" on major components as was common with these conversions. Faint cartouches on the grips. Barrel shortened, new front sight installed, some ejector rod components and wedge screw absent.

Good, with traces of the period applied nickel finish, scattered light pitting, period modifications (see above), and minor chips/handling marks on the grip. The cylinder does not rotate when cocked, mechanically needs adjustment.
