Description:

This is one of approximately 200 of Colt's Model 1877 revolver that were chambered in .32 Long Colt and nicknamed the "Rainmaker". The factory letter states the revolver was shipped on January 7, 1892, and delivered to Buffalo Arms Co. of Buffalo, New York, with a 4 1/2 inch barrel in .32 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. Rating Definition:

Very good with refinished blue/casehardened finish, brown patina on the balance, some pitting mostly on the frame, and softened grip checkering. Mechanically fine.
