The factory letter lists this revolver in .38/40 with a 4 3/4 inch barrel, blue finish, and rubber grips and indicates it was one of ten in a shipment to Simmons Hardware Co. in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 17, 1890. Very good with some original finish, gray and brown patina, minor oxidation/pitting, and general moderate overall wear. The period replacement grips are fine. Mechanically fine.
