Manufactured c. 1859-1863 as a carbine and later rebuilt as a metallic cartridge sporting rifle. "F.W. FREUND/PATENTED" marked rear sight.

Good as assembled with mixed parts and refinished with mild pitting and general moderate wear including some chips at the toe. Mechanically fine.
