A) Spanish-American War Era U.S. Springfield Model 1896 Krag-Jorgensen Rifle with Bayonet

Bore Condition: The bore is darkened with light pitting and visible rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1896. Faintly visible cartouche stamped on the left wrist of the stock, with a faintly visible circled script "P" proof on bottom. Includes a "1901" dated M1892 bayonet with metal scabbard, and a brown leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Good with some original finish, and smooth brown and gray patina on the balance with some scattered light surface freckling. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet and scabbard are very good.

Manufactured in 1943. "RA/flaming bomb/2-43" marked barrel, "X" marked bolt with "R" marked bolt sleeve, and faintly visible cartouches stamped on the left stock wrist.

Rating Definition:

Very good as arsenal refurbished, with most of the finish. Stock is good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
