Manufactured c. 1880s. Comes in a case with a "John F. Morton." inscribed lid plaque, tools, one cartridge, two casings, windgauge globe front sight, a 26 inch barrel in .40 caliber and a 26 inch barrel in 28 gauge smoothbore. Matching installed barrel. Extra barrels non-matching.

Good with some original blue and casehardened finish, repaired lug on the installed barrel, most of the blue on the extra barrels, absent tang screw, gray and brown patina, and mild overall wear. Mechanically fine.
