Description:

Manufactured in 1832. "J. H. HALL/H. FERRY/US/1832" marked breech block. This example has been converted to percussion from its original flintlock configuration, which was commonly done by the Confederacy during the Civil War.

Rating Definition:

Good with some original finish, arsenal refinished breech block, brown patina, scattered spotting/corrosion and light pitting. Stock is very good as re-oiled, with scattered dents and scratches, a few cracks, and a reattached cracked section visible on top behind the frame. Absent rear sight. Mechanically excellent.
