Bore Condition: The bore is dark and has heavy oxidation and distinct rifling.
Description:

This rifle by William Billinghurst (1807-1880) of Rochester, New York, is a rare example of a Miller patent revolving rifle converted to fire metallic cartridges. Screws have replaced the original nipples, and a firing pin is fitted to the breech plate. The left side has a loading groove. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Rating Definition:

Good with refinished brown, gray and brown patina, oxidation, some chips and cracks on the stock, and mild overall wear. The lock functions. The cylinder is currently prevented from rotating properly due to a stuck firing pin.
