Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and has some light oxidation and crisp rifling.
Description:

Texas gunmaker Christopher Scott Hirsch (b. 1953) was particularly active in the 1970s to early 1990s building Kentucky rifles, including one presented to President Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office (copy of the American Rifleman March 1982 issue with a photo of the presentation to Reagan on the cover included). This rifle is signed "C.S. Hirsch" on the straight octagon barrel and has "W.L. COCHRAN" marked inside the lock.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with nearly all of the original finish, light signs of use, and mostly only minor age and storage related wear. Mechanically fine.
