Signed "STATON" in a banner on the left and "LONDON" on the right. Thomas Staton of London was active c. 1768-1782.

Very good with attractively aged patina on the brass, gray-brown patina on the iron, distinct engraving and markings, and mild wear. Mechanically fine.
