Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and has some light oxidation and crisp rifling.
Description:

An accompanying note states that it was manufactured by Tipping & Lawden and notes that fact that it has both London and Birmingham proofs attests to the conversion. It was converted for centerfire c. 1860s-1870s. "DEANE-HARDINGS PATENT No 6818 L" is marked on the right side of the frame. "W. & T. KAVANAGH DUBLIN" is marked top strap. "59" is marked on the cylinder and latch/safety. "Pivy" marked in small carved letters at the top of the grip on the right. Includes a non-compatible conversion cylinder. Case has an oak and green baize lining. Collection labels are on the case.

Rating Definition:

Very good with most of the original finish, white filled markings, mild wear, light oxidation, and mild scratches and dings. Mechanically fine. The case is good with the lock mechanism removed and contained inside and mild wear.
