Built up by Kiwi's Custom Guns using an Australian "LITHGOW/MA/1942" marked receiver with a "6.51.F.T.R." rebuild stamp on the left side. Fitted with a folding metal bipod. Includes a green painted hardwood transport case fitted to the rifle marked "CHEST BREN 303-IN MG MK1". Very fine as arsenal refurbished and subsequently refinished and built up by Kiwi's Custom Guns, retaining nearly all of the finish with softened receiver markings, some minor pitting under the finish, and light handling marks. The furniture is fine as sanded and re-oiled with numerous scattered light dents and handling marks along with a crack in the barrel carry handle. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine.
