Description:

Manufactured in early 1945, from the end of the fifth production block (serial number range 6,629,884 to 7,234,883) by Inland Manufacturing Division between November 1944 to August 1945, which included M2 production. Original, parts correct with handstamped M1 rollmark on the receiver ring, "2-45" dated Inland barrel, "SI" type III barrel band, "R" marked front sight, "I.R.CO." type III adjustable peep rear sight, "P-I" type V operating rod, "A.I" blued round-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with "M" type V magazine catch, "I A O" type IV rotary safety, and "I-I" type III hammer. Fitted with a walnut low-wood stock marked "IO" in the sling channel along with an "ordnance wheel" cartouche stamp on the right of the butt, an "IO" marked four-rivet handguard, and a blued "IS" magazine. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining original finish with some minor edge wear, light cycling wear, some limited brown patina showing mostly on the buttplate, and some minor handling marks. The stock is fine with a few scattered minor compression marks and scratches and clear cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
