Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with visible rifling and pitting.
Description:

"JMG" monogram (Lt. Col. J. M. Gilbert) inspected frame manufactured in 1918, Colt World War I era slide, and "P" over "H" marked on the chamber hood of the blued barrel. Fitted with a pair 'double diamond' checkered walnut grips and two-tone blued magazine.

Rating Definition:

Good, with traces of original finish in protected areas and on the controls, light edge wear, scattered thinning on the balance with grey and brown patinas, scattered light spotting/freckling, a dent in the right track of the slide, and mild handling marks. The grips are also good with numerous mild compression and handling marks in the otherwise defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
