Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1944 as a part of the only production block from International Business Machines Corporation (serial number range from 3,651,520 to 4,009,999) produced from August 1943 to May 1944. Undated "I.B.M.CORP." marked barrel with importer mark on the left, "O" type III barrel band, "AOB" marked parkerized round-top bolt, circled "S" type III operating rod, and an Inland milled trigger housing with unmarked type V magazine release, "C/M" flip safety lever, and "W" type III hammer. Fitted with a low wood walnut stock, marked "RSG" in the sling channel, along with an unmarked two-rivet handguard and "U" blued magazine. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with light edge wear, some flaking black paint in protected areas, scattered minor patches of brown patina and spotting visible on the barrel, bolt, and buttplate, and some light handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with some minor denting and chipping at the tang. Mechanically excellent.

Receiver manufactured in early 1943 as a part of the first production block from National Postal Meter (serial number range from 1,450,000 to 1,549,999) produced from February to September 1943. "S A 10 51" marked replacement barrel, "SA" front sight, unmarked type II barrel band, "S" and "RN" L flip peep rear sight, "U" marked parkerized flat-top bolt, "N/15" type II operating rod, and "N/9" milled trigger housing with "E.I." type IV magazine release, unmarked push button safety, and "U" type III hammer. Fitted with a low wood modified "I" oiler cut stock, marked "TN" in the sling channel, "ordnance wheel" with boxed "NPM/FJA" (National Postal Meter, Col. Frank J. Atwood) inspection cartouche on the right of the butt, a matching serial number stamped on the left, and "200" on the right of the wrist, along with an "IO" marked two-rivet handguard and "U" blued magazine. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Fine as arsenal refurbished, with plum coloration on the barrel, minor cycling wear, minor edge wear, scattered minor patches of spotting/brown patina showing, and some mild handling wear. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with some scattered minor dents and an area of wood filler on the right side. Mechanically excellent.
